Our New Vehicles

Since I sold my Chevy Trailblazer to my mom and John had a bit of trouble shipping his Chevy Silverado, we arrived in Germany with no transportation. While living in TLF, we rented and borrowed several cars to get around. After realizing that wasn't going to be a long-term option we set out to find ourselves new vehicles.

John with the option of buying a used 94' white BMW off of a friend at work that was PCS'ing to another location. The BMW is great for travel back and forth to work and even has a new stereo system and sunroof. Not something I would particularly care to drive on a day-to-day basis, but for him it gets him to work and back home.

As a mutual decision, we decided to buy a brand new vehicle for the family. We bought an 08' red Jeep Compass Limited. I opted for a red color because it was a car color out of my element. Which goes right along with my lifestyle right now. :) The Jeep has two-toned tan leather, heated seats. The heated seats have come in quite handy on those cold winter days.

John's Silverado has just been delivered to the shipping port in Atlanta. The scheduled arrival date is Feb. 3rd. What an anniversary present for us! I can't wait to have him back to looking like a country boy in his truck really soon. I can't wait to show off where we really come from...the south!
