Our First Home in Germany

This was our first home in Germany located in the small village of Obernheim-Kirchenarnbach. This house was 3,500 sq. ft. with 6 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The first floor had the foyer, office, living room, dining room, game room, kitchen, laundry room, 1/2 bath, pantry, garage, and oil room. The 2nd floor had 4 bedrooms, a full bath with a garden tub, a 1/2 bath and a large open gallery that overlooks the downstairs. This was more house than we will ever need or can afford in our stateside life. However, this didn't work out for us seeing as it was way too big and the boys had no one to play with. After a year, we moved closer to the base in a more American neighborhood.
