Easter Weekend April 11 - 12, 2009

Saturday we went out into Landstuhl for a stroll through the town. We ate lunch at the New York Doner Kebab. It was delicious!! Afterwards, we came upon European Country Living (our most favorite furniture store) and they were hosting Easter festivities. The boys colored Easter pictures and got to display them in the store. Ryan got his face painted like Spiderman and Nick got a mouse tattoo. After that we came home and colored Easter eggs. They had a blast!

To be honest, holidays have been kind of sad since we arrived in Germany seeing as how we are away from family. However, Easter wasn't so bad. We were invited by our friends Amy and Mac to come spend Easter with them. We planned Easter dinner just like our parents would have made and the kids had an Easter egg hunt...just like they would have at home with their grandparents. It really felt like home!
