Leaving Georgia  June 19, 2008

Today we left Georgia headed for Germany! I can tell you this has to be THE HARDEST DAY OF MY LIFE! Tears were flowing!

We left Robins TLF and headed to Kensington to say goodbye to everyone. What an emotional moment that was. After we left there, we caravaned to Buckner's Restaurant in Jackson, GA. There we had lunch with Nana, Papa, Jami, Grandaddy Woodard, Nancy, Michael, Tasha, Willow, Brandon, Miranda, Jennifer, Adam and Bailey.

After lunch, we headed to the airport and waited the longest wait of my life, but yet the shortest. I loved on my mom as much as I could! When it was time to leave them, I stopped at the end of every rope and kissed her goodbye. I couldn't keep the tears under control.

We almost ended up missing the plane. We were the last ones at the gate and the last ones on the plane. What a sad day!
