K-Town w/Family June 4, 2009
We started our adventure with a trip to Globus (our somewhat Walmart store) to find the liquor candy. We hit the jackpot! Afterwards, we visited the Vogelweh BX in search of baseball cards for Nick. Then off to K-town we went. We walked the Walk Platz and visited shops. We stopped off at the Hannen Fass for dinner. This was my family's first experience with schnitzel made the German way. They loved it! Jami got a Hannen Fass beer mug. Too cool! They also found Chuck's Diner..."Home of the Trailer Park Kool-Aid"! Afterwards, we got ice cream and my dad was given change in Russian money. Something else to collect. The kids then wandered up on the "naked statue"! What an experience...
